Official Mask Policy as of 8/2/2021

In accordance with CDC recommendations, we are reinstating our mask requirement for everyone who enters our building when there is more than one person present. This includes vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.


We are monitoring the CDC guidance for Allen County, Indiana, and will revoke this requirement when the coronavirus spread rating drops to Moderate or Low.

All volunteers are required to complete a release waiver. Click HERE to download and complete the form. Then, simply bring it with you on your designated work day. Thanks!


Children are welcome to come and volunteer! We have had many young people help us and they really enjoy it! We ask that a parent or guardian stays with the young person the entire time they are at our pantry.

We bag and distribute pet food at: 

2502 Church Street in Waynedale, just south of the Kroger off of Bluffton Road.


Distributions are the first and third Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to noon, or until the last client is served.

Fundraising/Events Committee

Support our work behind the scenes to keep pets at home with their families. 


This committee will be responsible for planning fundraising events, applying for grants and obtaining corporate sponsorships. Tasks may include marketing (social media, mailers, emails, flyers, etc.), requesting donations for auctions/raffles and meeting with local businesses to gain their support.


Meetings are typically once a month, unless the current tasks require more often. Monthly attendance is necessary to gain momentum and to stay on course. Members are encouraged to commit for one year to ensure there are enough people to bring a project to completion.

Saturday Food Distribution

Our volunteers arrive at 9:30 am on Saturday to help set up so we are ready to start at 10:00am.

Volunteers can help pass out food to our patrons, or help bag dog and cat food.

When bagging the pet food, we take the 15-40# bags and break them down into 1 gallon Ziploc baggies.

We get through the line of patrons around 12:00, and then we will be there until 12:30pm putting our things away.

We will be bagging dog and cat food one weeknight a month, or as needed. Wear comfortable clothes. Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds is possible. Snacks will be provided!
