Have you ever had to say, "I can't afford to feed you today?"

Fort Wayne Pet Food Pantry's mission is to keep pets at home with their families.
We provide pet food at no cost to pet owners who are struggling financially and cannot afford to feed their pets.

Economic reasons account for approximately 25% of the pets that are surrendered by their owners to local shelters. Over the course of a year, this could add up to several hundred animals.

We believe that by providing free pet food to those in need, we will be able to:
  • reduce the number of animals that are taken to the shelter
  • reduce the number of animals that are euthanized due to overcrowded shelters
  • preserve the loving relationship that pet owners share with their pets
  • relieve people of the emotional stress of not being able to provide for their pets

Because the food we provide is based solely on donations, we cannot guarantee the quantity or brand of food that will be available each time.
